The search for the next big bakery product is on! BAKO’s Young Bakers Initiative is back for its second year, giving two aspiring bakery professionals the chance to take their ideas from initial concept all the way through to a potential nationwide launch in 2027.
This year, Holly and Alessia will take on a live product development brief, exploring emerging trends, experimenting with flavours and learning what it takes to create a commercially successful bakery product. Delivered in partnership with Dawn Foods and University College Birmingham, the initiative gives them expert mentoring and hands-on experience along the way.
